At G+J you have the opportunity to complete internships in the various editorial departments. Demand is very high, therefore you should apply about 6-12 months in advance.

As part of the internship, you will get a first glimpse of the work of a journalist. Depending on your previous training, you will help with research and, at the discretion of the editorial department, write short articles.

In general, this type of internship lasts 4-24 weeks.

If you have completed your lower division coursework or your bachelor's degree, and if your personality, interests and subject matter competency are convincing, we look forward to your application. Another important prerequisite is previous experience in journalism, such as with your school, university or daily paper or through various internships in the field of journalism. Please attach a relevant sample of your work to your application.

Complete documents are an important requirement for a successful application. That includes - in addition to your letter in which you list the area of interest to you - a resume in table format, a copy of your high school and university diplomas and grades, the above-mentioned work sample and a current photo.
