Once an elitist leisure activity, golf has long since become a popular hobby all over the world and is a rapidly growing sport in Austria. Golf tourism means that Austria is now truly a golfing nation, with more than 150 clubs and over 100,000 registered club members - the number of which is ever increasing. Golfrevue, Austria's traditional and most competent golf magazine, provides the domestic golf scene with information and services to do with the booming sport, from golf course reviews and sport reports to equipment and travel. In addition to this, Golfrevue is the official bulletin of the Golfverband (ÖGV), the Austrian golfing association.
