G+J Spain to Publish Portuguese Edition of MUY INTERESANTE

SUPER INTERESSANTE, the Portuguese edition of G+J´s Spanish magazine
MUY INTERESANTE, previously published by the Portuguese imprint
Edimprensa under license from G+J Spain, will be published by Gruner + Jahr
itself from July 2007, i.e. by the Portuguese imprint Allmedia,
a G+J subsidiary. The content of MUY INTERESANTE and SUPER INTERESSANTE
is closely modeled on the concept behind P.M.-MAGAZIN in Germany.
SUPER INTERESSANTE, a popular-science monthly launched in 1998, has sold
circulation of 43,000 copies, which makes it Portugal´s leading
popular-science magazine.
Taking over the publication of SUPER INTERESSANTE is part of G+J´s
international growth strategy of strengthening its subsidiaries´
publishing activities with the brands already in its portfolio.
