Linda Fears Named YM Editor In Chief
Sally Lee Adds Appointment As Editorial Director For YM To Duties
New York, NY, February 25, 2004 Axel Ganz, President of
Gruner + Jahr´s International Magazine Division, has named
Linda Fears, current deputy editor of Parents magazine as
editor in chief of YM magazine, under the supervision of
Sally Lee, editor in chief of PARENTS magazine and editorial
director of the Parents Media Group.
Fears has been PARENTS´ deputy editor since 2000. She is a
seasoned magazine editor who has served in top editorial
positions for the past 18 years. Before being named PARENTS
deputy editor, Fears was articles editor from 1999-2000.
Prior to PARENTS, she was the lifestyle director at American
Health for Women and Ladies´ Home Journal.
As editor in chief of Gruner + Jahr USA´s PARENTS magazine
and editorial director of the Parents Media Group, which
includes Parents Expecting, Parents Baby, Ser Padres and
Parents.com, Sally Lee brings vision, personality and
creativity to each title. Lee has also been editor in chief
of two market-leading magazines for Gruner + Jahr: FITNESS and YM.
