"RTL- GALA Summer Programs"
Starts July 2 in GALA and July 5 on RTL television,
live from Le Touquet. RTL is planning a brand-new series for this summer´s schedules as part of a collaboration with the weekly magazine GALA. Paris, 1. Juli 2003
Each Wednesday from July 2 for eight weeks, famous French stars will present their favorite holiday towns or regions in GALA. This new section will be entitled "Postcards from the stars". With four pages of fantastic photos, information and useful addresses, you can experience and learn to love a region through the eyes of a well-known personality. On the agenda are Francis Perrin and Le Touquet, Laurent Bourgnon and La Trinité-sur-Mer and Michel Leeb and Le Cap-Ferret among others. These places can also be seen on RTL´s weekly program "Summer detours". Each Saturday from July 5 for eight weeks "RTL-GALA Summer Programs" will be
presented by Eric Jean-Jean from the seaside towns described by the numerous
personalities and artists in GALA. The programs are live and will be broadcast
from 3pm to 4.30pm.
The first of the "RTL-GALA Summer Programs" will be broadcast from Le Touquet
on Saturday, July 5 and will feature guests such as Lorie, Patrick Fiori and
the Modena group.
Following the program from Le Touquet on July 5, "RTL-GALA Summer Programs" will
be broadcast each Saturday from the following places: Cabourg, La Trinité-sur-Mer,
Les Sables d´Olonne, Le Cap-Ferret/Claouey, Biscarosse, La Grande Motte and Bandol.
Loïck Perron, Michel Lebb, Philippe Lavil, Laurent Boyer, Jean-Pierre Foucault and
finalists from the program M6 "Search for a New Star", broadcast in cooperation
with RTL, will be among the many personalities taking part in
the "RTL-GALA Summer Programs".
GALA readers will be able to read about the best moments from these shows in all
the summer editions up to the issue published on September 3.
A prize draw will take place each Saturday, with the main prizes being two weekends
in château hotels which are part of the famous "Les Grandes Etapes Françaises" chain.
Many other prizes are also on offer.
A comprehensive promotional campaign will accompany this joint initiative Adverts in
the national editions of GALA and promotion on RTL television, as well as
announcements in daily regional press, posters on location, information in tourist
office guides and an internet presence at www.rtl.fr and www.gala.fr.
