Télé-Loisirs, the most popular magazine in France, will be available in Belgium from March 11
Paris, March 7, 2003
From March 11 2003 and from its 889th issue onwards, the weekly television magazine Télé-Loisirs will be available in Belgium. Supplied to more than 500 French-speaking distributors and available every Wednesday, it will cost 1.20 Euro.
To mark the occasion, Télé-Loisirs will run a competition which can only be played by readers in Belgium. A special sleeve on the front cover will introduce this competition and the prizes to be won - a television with a 16:9 projection and a Sony DVD player.
Since its launch in 1986 Télé-Loisirs has made considerable progress, most notably between 1991 and 2001 when sales were up by more than 51%. A television magazine, it combines clear and detailed program guides for over 91 channels with around twenty familiar sections on other leisure activities. Thanks to a policy of constant improvement, Télé-Loisirs is the only title to gain readers in what is a very competitive market.
In January 2000, the weekly magazine exceeded the two million sold copies mark and is today the magazine which sells the most copies at the newsstands. In 2001/2002, its total OJD distribution was 2,008,131 copies.
Attached is the cover of Télé-Loisirs issue no. 889 and the magazine sleeve to be used for sale in Belgium.
