G+J Spain has kept its readers supplied with magazines for roughly 25 years now. The editorial offices in Madrid write for eleven titles, including the popular-science magazines MUY INTERESANTE and MUY INTERESANTE JUNIOR. G+J publications for the Iberian Peninsula also include GEO, CAPITAL and the women´s magazine MIA, and SER PADRES and LIVING AT HOME. The most recent addition to the magazine family was in the premium people segment: GALA Spain was launched in September 2004.

G+J´s longtime publishing executive Dr. Carsten Moser became the recipient of a very special honor. The members of the Spanish magazine publishers association ARI elected him the "Magazine Publisher of the Year 2004." Each year, the 37 members of the ARI sponsor this award to honor a lifetime achievement in publishing. Moser´s selection for the award was a dual premiere: he was both the first foreigner and the first hired executive to be honored in this way. All past winners have been owners of Spanish publishing companies or magazines.
