PRISMA PRESSE
Prisma Presse is Gruner + Jahr's most important international branch, as well as No.2 in the French magazine market. TV magazines like TELE LOISIRS, TV GRANDES CHAINES and TELE 2 SEMAINES make Prisma Presse the undisputed market leader in this segment.
TÉLÉ 2 SEMAINES offers an entirely new concept in the French market, based on four important innovations: - Two weeks of TV programming in a single issue - A clear, contemporary, and vibrant layout. - Program selection by genre, allowing for more diversified and higher-quality presentation - Numerous categories for the whole family: Junior, Movies, DVD, Sports etc. Its biweekly publication rhythm was made possible by a program database that Prisma Presse developed specifically for this purpose. Before that, short lead times had dictated a weekly rhythm for all TV guides in France. TV GRANDES CHAINES, another G+J innovation in the French TV listings market, draws on the same program database. Unlike France's other TV guides, TV GRANDES CHAINES focuses exclusively on France's six terrestrial TV channels, i.e. the ones that are received via roof aerial. 70 percent of French households can receive only these channels. The six terrestrial channels account for roughly 90 percent of total viewing time. TV GRANDES CHAINES complements Prisma Presse's TV listings portfolio as the third title alongside TÉLÉ 2 SEMAINES and TÉLÉ LOISIRS.
Paris is also home to the globally successful GALA brand family. The premium people magazine first hit newsstands here in 1993. Today, national GALA editions are also published in Germany, Poland, Russia and Spain. |
