NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC  ( POL )
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, the internationally renowned magazine with the yellow border, which is read by over 50 million people month after month, has been published in the respective national languages in Germany, France and Poland since September 1999. The Netherlands edition was added in September 2000.
In 2002, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC was awarded magazine of the year by "Media & Marketing Polska", Poland's leading industry service.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, established over 100 years ago in the USA to "increase and intensify knowledge of geography", is still deemed as the qualitative standard for journalism and photography. Every feature in the magazine, whether it be about the animal kingdom, geography or science, is a work of journalism in the original sense of the word and the result of often month long production and selection processes. NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC is not a passive viewer but an active participant in the different subjects treated in the magazine. Thus, many of the features therein were only made possible through research efforts backed by the National Geographic Society. The discovery of Machu Picchu, the discovery of the Titanic, animal studies by Diane Fossey and Jane Goodall, to name but a few, have inseparable ties to the name NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC.
